Paul Kearns, BA, EMT-P, CPDM – President
Paul has been an emergency medical professional for the past twenty-five years. Paul graduated with a BA in history from the Plattsburgh State University of New York in 1990. Shortly after completing his degree, he continued with post baccalaureate work in medical sciences and became a paramedic in 1992. Paul spent the next 10 years as a New York City paramedic, a critical care transport professional and firefighter. During that time, Paul conducted research with New York University Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital in the fields of emergency medicine, pediatric injury prevention, and pediatric paramedic education. In 2000, Paul assumed the role of Education, Performance improvement and Research Director for the North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System CEMS. He moved to North Carolina in 2005 and has been teaching with CPR Consultants since 2006.
Paul has been an American Heart Association Instructor since 1991. Paul is an accomplished speaker, giving talks on EMS, critical care transport, pediatric injury prevention, safety, disaster preparedness, and emergency response to stroke. Recently, Paul completed the graduate certificate in Community Preparedness and Disaster Management from the UNC – Chapel Hill School of Public Health. In 2007, Paul was nominated to serve on the American Heart Association Community Strategies Council and continues to work with AHA Advocacy. Paul lives in Apex, NC with his wife Linda, and daughters Amanda and Leanne. When not at home with his family, you can find Paul watching his girls’ soccer teams, playing soccer or golfing.
YaKisha Cole – Administrative Assistant
YaKisha has been with CPR Consultants since August 2010. She started at the company as an office assistant and was promoted to the role of administrative assistant. YaKisha is a North Carolina native, born and raised in Durham, NC. She has been married for fifteen years to her husband David, who together they have two sons B’jorn 9yrs old and Ryshad 9yrs old. She can always be found wearing an infectious smile that brightens the room. In her free time, YaKisha can be found reading novels and cookbooks, shopping, trying new recipes, walking her puppy SirNahla, watching football, and defeating her husband in a game of pool.
Jenna Moyer – Raleigh Account Representative
Jenna joined CPR Consultants in October of 2013. Jenna is the Account Representative for the Raleigh office. Her role at CPR Consultants is customer support, setting up safety training for clients, networking, and AED/First Aid kit sales and maintenance. She is a rare find as she is a North Carolina native, born and raised in Apex, NC. Jenna worked as a preschool teacher, chiropractor assistant, nail technician, event manager for a prestigious catering company, and sales assistant for a life insurance company before settling down at CPR Consultants to pursue and continue to grow her strengths in sales and customer service. Jenna has been married to her Ohio State Buckeye fanatic, Jacob Moyer, since 2009. Together, they have an energetic son named Steven. Jenna enjoys watching her son play soccer, karate, and t-ball. In her spare time, you can find Jenna snuggled up with a book, shopping, or doing manicures for friends and family.
David Mills – Richmond Sales Representative
David Mills brings a number of years of experience to our Richmond office. David is an AHA BLS Faculty Instructor. David recently completed an EMT Program to widen his experience. Prior to his current position with CPR Consultants, David worked in the aviation industry with Southwest Airlines.
